Remote Polar Expedition Sales Specialist (Americas Time Zone)

As our Polar Expedition Specialist, you will be selling a dream product: exclusive expedition cruises to the polar regions. You will have the opportunity to help travelers experience some of the most fragile and awe-inspiring ecosystems on Earth. You will report directly to Benno, our Director of Booking Platforms, and work toward the shared goal of delivering unforgettable journeys to our travelers.

The basics you bring along• You are deeply passionate about our planet’s polar regions• Native or near-native English skills• A second language (ideally German) at C2 level• At least 2+ years of proven sales experience with clear results• Ability to work 8-hour shifts aligned to US time zones (preferably Pacific Time)• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to say “no” when needed• Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment• A passion for fair and sustainable business and tourism• Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly• Ability and motivation to integrate AI tools into your workflow for efficiency
On a daily basis, you will• Advise potential clients via email, phone, and video to guide them toward the right expedition• Communicate with providers to confirm prices, block spaces, and negotiate deals• Collaborate with Marketing on how to best market your polar trips• Improve client experience before and after the sale based on traveler feedback• Update and maintain accurate product, itinerary, and pricing information• Contribute insights to refine our ship portfolio and itineraries• Use digital tools and AI to streamline routine tasks and improve output• Support the continuous improvement of Polartours processes and standards
You can impress us even more with• Firsthand experience visiting Antarctica or the Arctic• Previous experience in polar expedition sales• A third spoken language• Strong interest or experience in SEO or digital marketing• Knowledge of ships, operators, or expedition logistics• Experience working remotely and independently• Familiarity with small-ship expedition travel or adventure travel sectors

Remote workingYou are free to work from anywhere in the world, but you must work within US time zones, ideally Pacific Time, because most of our clients are based in the Americas. You are always welcome to work from one of our Ventura offices such as Medellín, Quito, Cuzco, Cape Town, or our headquarters in Berlin. Trips to Antarctica or the Arctic are an important and welcome part of the role.
