THE ROLE

As a Sales Development Representative for the French market, you are the engine of our growth, acting as the first point of contact for future Pure Storage customers. You won't just be making calls; you’ll be a strategic prospector helping organizations shift from managing complex infrastructure to governing their data through the Pure Enterprise Data Cloud (EDC). Collaborating closely with Account Executives and Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint across France, turning cold outreach into meaningful business partnerships that redefine how companies scale in the AI era.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Advocate for the Enterprise Data Cloud: Educate prospective clients on how Pure’s EDC platform eliminates data silos and provides a unified, policy-driven operating model across on-premises, public cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Generate High-Impact Pipeline: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities, transforming raw leads into high-value sales meetings that directly contribute to the French region's revenue targets.
  • Strategize Territory Growth: Partner with Field Sales and Channel partners to map out key accounts and execute multi-channel prospecting campaigns (phone, email, social) that break into new market segments.
  • Master Solution Positioning: Effectively communicate Pure’s unique value proposition—including our DirectFlash® technology, Portworx for Kubernetes, and Evergreen//One™—addressing specific pain points of technical and business decision-makers.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Manage your entire prospecting lifecycle within Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ensuring data integrity and high-velocity movement through the sales funnel.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Persuasive Communication: Fluency in French and business-level English, with the ability to articulate the value of complex data platforms like EDC and Pure Fusion to both technical managers and C-suite executives.
  • Resilient Sales Mindset: A track record of exceeding performance targets (KPIs) and a natural curiosity to hunt for new business in a fast-paced, competitive technology environment.
  • Technical Aptitude: The ability to quickly learn and translate complex cloud, storage, and AI-ready infrastructure concepts into clear business benefits for the customer.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Skill in working cross-functionally with Marketing and Channel teams to align messaging and maximize the impact of regional demand-generation programs.
  • Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Paris, France office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
