This position can be based (hybrid) from any of our European offices: Munich, Berlin, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Barcelona or Madrid.

Join our Revenue Enablement team at Personio partnering with the business to ensure every member of the customer-facing organization has the skills, knowledge, process awareness and content to maximize every customer and prospect interaction in the most impactful way. 

In your role as “Sales Skills Lead” you will be responsible for leading a team of enablement professionals responsible for sales skills, customer engagement skills & revenue leadership enablement. You will be driving the skills and methodology approach and curriculum across new joiners and existing field facing individual contributors and managers. This role reports to the Sr Lead for Onboarding and Skills.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Lead and develop members of the team to continue to grow as enablement professionals and make a tangible impact for the organization

  • Be accountable for the roadmap design and delivery and the calendar of sales skills, CX skills and leadership development offerings including the measurement of program impact

  • Contribute to best-of-breed onboarding to ensure key skills competencies are developed and can be demonstrated by new joiners

  • Review, enhance and deploy sales methodology and measure its impact by reviewing key metrics related to methodology adoption 

  • Provide guidance and coaching for your team members on the creation, selection, deployment and management of sales training programs and sales leader training programs 

  • Stay informed about latest developments and approaches in skills development and Personio’s positioning and messaging to incorporate into programs

  • Review and measure the effectiveness of sales programmes through a set of qualitative and quantitative indicators, and build iterative changes to constantly improve their outcome

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • You bring 2 plus years of experience leading and developing teams, including direct management and management of virtual project teams

  • You have strong knowledge of sales methodologies, customer engagement processes in B2B SaaS and qualification approaches such as MEDDICC 

  • You have direct sales or account management experience in a SaaS or B2B environment and good business acumen

  • You have enablement, product marketing or sales operations experience

  • You are fluent in English and ideally German, with a thoughtful, structured, and transparent communication style (verbal and written)

  • You have a strong understanding of how to support AEs and GMs be successful with their sales skills, sales process and mindset.

  • You have strong presentation skills that can accommodate both in-person and virtual learning environments and are willing to take on some training delivery yourself

  • You can identify skill gaps and change management opportunities to be able to make relevant recommendations for improvement

  • Experience in creating and/or implementing customer-centric sales methodologies and approaches a plus
