The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

This role can be based (hybrid) in any of our European offices - Munich, Berlin, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Madrid or Barcelona.

The Strategy and Operations team at Personio is a key strategic partner for our sales and partnerships leaders across strategy, analytics, operations, enablement and tools. Team members are experts in business strategy and operations and great analytical and strategic thinkers. They are innately curious and strive to always understand and better the status quo.

Last year Personio launched an exciting Payroll product to the market, with huge growth potential, this business unit is operating like a fast moving startup within a larger ecosystem. Partnering with senior Payroll leadership and the broader Go-to-Market team, you will drive the overall productivity and effectiveness of the team. 

Responsibilities include owning business planning, go-to-market analysis, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales program implementation, sales compensation design and administration to name but a few!

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Work directly with key leaders on critical strategic, organizational and operational projects designed to increase revenue, sales productivity and operational efficiency

  • We love data and want you to build and implement sales analytics and business intelligence which will enable the global sales organization to successfully execute on selling strategies, build greater customer intimacy, and achieve sales goals

  • Structure and execute on projects by developing work plans, gathering relevant data, leading analyses and developing final recommendations

  • Analyze and determine key insights from key business drivers, trends and operating metrics. Translate data into insights and actions

  • Take advantage of large amounts of structured data to understand how to optimize our sales strategy and customer segmentation

  • Work with and influence cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, Product, People Operations and Customer Experience

  • Develop sales leadership dashboards, presentations or documentation, to communicate results in a succinct, easy-to-understand manner, to all levels of the organization

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Previous Operations & strategy roles, ideally within a Revenue function, to be able to drive projects from the whiteboard to the market.

  • You have a curious mind - always wanting to understand drivers of performance from technical to behavioral

  • Critical Thinking -  Distilling company strategy, team goals, and local needs into an operational and execution plan

  • Analytical and Problem solving - You must love data and know the right questions to ask. Constantly seeking to understand drivers of business performance and enjoy building models and presentations showcasing this 

  • Fantastic communicator - comfortable speaking to all levels of the company

  • Experience with Excel, SQL, R / Python, Salesforce and other visualization tools is a plus
