As a Senior Engineering Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the seamless integration of agile best practices across our teams. You’ll help with the necessary tools and processes and also personally engage with the teams to ensure compliance, eliminating distractions by managing external stakeholders, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of agile best practices by streamlining tools and processes while minimizing overhead
  • Engage with each team to help implement and maintain our established ways of working while eliminating ambiguity and fostering clarity on roles and responsibilities
  • Manage external stakeholder needs to shield development teams from distractions, allowing uninterrupted work for the team and letting managers focus where they are needed most.

 

Requirements

  • Experience working directly with agile software development teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate change across an ambitious cross functional environment 
  • Proficient in the use of scrum/kanban tools, eg Shortcut, Jira
  • Preferred experience or Certification as Agile Product Owner and/or Scrum Master

 

The base pay range for this position is $100,000-130,000 CAD /year, which can include additional on-target commission pay/bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
