Position Description:

We are looking for a technical, and process oriented person! This role will make use of attention to detail, regular repeat diligence, and outlining changing requirements and keeping up with industry connection leaders.  You will work with our engineering teams to shape the future of our products . We are looking for a creative, to help us identify market problems. We want someone to work with our product teams across the Identity and Access Management domain; outlining problems and working on building solutions that drive incremental value.   As the PM for the Connection Team, you will be responsible for building and executing a plan to add new connections,  update existing connections, and monitor for industry changes that may break customer implementations. This means interactions with our login team for SocialLogins, and our GenAI team for all the new integrations they look to build with OAuth

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Do hands on research and prototyping of identity solutions and market test for viability
  • Work with our engineering and design team to build actionable requirements
  • Build roadmaps that articulate your product direction and strategy 
  • Build compelling business cases to support ongoing product delivery efforts 
  • Following our PDLC (Product Delivery Lifecycle) to drive a complete vision, while upholding the highest standards in security, architecture, and design.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or has completed an Engineering Bootcamp program within the same time frame. 
  • 10+ years technical/engineering background or experience in a B2B or B2C SaaS organization
  • Projects involving building or expanding SaaS products 
  • Practical experience working data and tools to analyze data. (SQL/BI Tools)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to leadership, customers as well as broader cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Capable of developing a strong, positive relationship with engineering, program and design teams
  • Experience with working remotely

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes
  • Hands on experience with agile development tools like Jira and Confluence
  • People skills to conduct customer interviews
  • Ability to travel within US or Canada for customer conversation or research

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$164,000—$246,000 USD
