In August 2020, Cisco Systems completed the acquisition of ThousandEyes, which now forms the ThousandEyes Business Unit within the Cisco Networking Business Group and is the Network Assurance solution for Cisco across the Cisco Networking Cloud and Cisco Security Cloud. ThousandEyes is also a foundational component of Cisco’s growing Full-Stack Observability (“FSO”) business.
About The Role
ThousandEyes is looking for an exceptional Product Marketing Manager to join our world-class Product Marketing organization, disrupting the multi-billion dollar network performance and analytics market.
The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, has a proven track record driving innovative products in hyper-growth markets. You combine technical aptitude with business acumen, developing compelling product and industry narratives, using strong communications skills and analytics-based arguments. You are detail-oriented, metrics-driven, and unwilling to settle for mediocrity. And you are an inspiration to your constituents inside and outside the organization in bringing your vision to life. You will join a group of original thinkers and innovators, working tirelessly to deliver exceptional value to customers at the cutting edge of digital transformation to Cloud, SaaS, SD-WAN, and Internet-centric operations.

What You’ll Do
- Develop product and solution positioning, messaging, and persona guides.
- Produce assets including blogs, solution briefs, web copy, contributed articles, videos,
- Create sales enablement and tools including sales scripts and presentations effectively communicate solution benefits and differentiation for internal sales teams and channel partners.
- Research competitive solutions and maintain competitive comparisons, evaluations, and value differentiation by customer use case.
- Serve as a polished, effective spokesperson for ThousandEyes in industry forums, AR/PR activities and other relationships.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing for enterprise software (ideally, SaaS) and/or networking technology companies.
- Experience supporting multiple products, audiences and verticals.
- Strong ability to understand enterprise business needs and customize stories to different customer segments.
- Proven experience presenting to technical and business audiences, as well as analysts and media.
- Technical aptitude, able to quickly learn new technologies and solutions.
- Social and emotional IQ – ability to effectively listen, communicate, and manage expectations at all levels (down, peer, up).
- Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative and high-growth technology environment.
- Travel: up to 20% of the time, domestically and internationally.

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training.
