Responsibilities: 

As part of the growing Sales team in France, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and managing a team of sales representatives (3 to 8 individuals), ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to efficiently carry out their daily tasks and achieve the team's objectives set by leadership.
  • Ensuring the daily motivation of your sales team, based on SumUp's core values: Founder mentality, Team First, and We Care.
  • Organizing and building all activities for your team, from conception to implementation.
  • Representing the French market for SumUp POS in a global environment, working closely with other teams to promote the presentation, adoption, and activation of SumUp solutions among our SMB/SME merchants, with the primary goal of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyzing and monitoring your team's essential data on a daily basis, providing insights to support strategic decisions and identifying areas of improvement in the overall sales process.
  • Managing projects aimed at improving internal sales processes and acquiring new customers.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Sales in recruitment and training activities to build a strong and effective sales team.
  • Ensuring continuous training and skill development for members of your sales team.

  • Effective communicator - clear, direct, and precise.
  • Proficient in both English and French.
  • Autonomous and well-organized.
  • Skilled in team management and leadership.
  • Experience in training and onboarding new team members.
  • Familiarity with OKR logic, Sales KPI tracking, and conducting individual or collective meetings.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Team Lead in a Startup SaaS company.
  • Hold a degree in sales or equivalent (IUT/BTS/commercial license) or a business school diploma.
