Senior Tax Analyst - International

Lyft is looking for a strong and motivated Senior Tax Analyst to join our growing Tax Team! As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will report to the Senior Tax Manager and focus on supporting the Company’s international income tax compliance (including U.S. international) and provision processes as well as special projects. You will collaborate with key departments across the organization, including Accounting and Finance.
Responsibilities:- Assist with the preparation and review of the quarterly and annual tax provision for all foreign subsidiaries, including computation of US international tax results (GILTI, BEAT, 163(j), etc.)
- Assist with the review of US international tax compliance requirements including Forms 5471 / 5472 / 8865 / 8991 / 8992 / 926
- Assist with the review of all international income tax requirements
- Assist in all other international tax workflows such as transfer pricing reports, withholding tax requirements, Pillar 1/Pillar 2 implementation
- Perform tax research as necessary to complete assigned tasks/projects
- Support of international tax planning and involvement in special projects
- Monitor international tax law changes and impact to Lyft
- 3+ years of relevant experience at a public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department and multinational company operating globally
- Exposure to international tax provisions, cross-border issues, and U.S. compliance for international taxpayers
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax or related field; CPA, or a CPA candidate preferred
- Technical knowledge of tax law and familiarity with ASC 740 and its application is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong ownership of his/her function
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Data visualization and automation experience with Alteryx is a plus

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule following the establishment of a Lyft office in Nashville — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
The expected base pay range for this position in the Nashville area is $77,490 - $86,100. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
