The Strategic Events Operations Specialist will be a critical member of the Strategic Events team, providing support to the full team (first-party, third-party, and internal events) on data insights & reporting, email promotion, with a special focus on project management. This role requires a deep understanding of our business and team objectives, and a concentration on delivering results aligned to these goals. 

This role will be based remotely in North America. 

Position Expectations
  • Act as a collaborative business partner to the Marketing Operations team to improve and optimize Strategic Events program reporting and processes
  • Assist with the flow of leads from events into marketing automation systems to drive conversions and adoption of MongoDB’s products
  • Work with the data insights team to develop high-level program analysis to drive program decisions and understand our target customer journey
  • Manage email promotion program from start to finish for first- and third-party events, including calendar management, segmentation, email creation, and reporting
  • Oversee project management tooling for Strategic Events team to ensure that all tasks across our global events program are being managed appropriately 
  • Manage training, execution, and troubleshooting of our on-site meeting booking tool  
  • Work on special projects pertaining to streamlining processes or reducing inefficiencies within the Strategic Events team

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • 4+ years project management or marketing operations experience
  • Knowledgeable with event registration systems (ex. Cvent)
  • A data-driven approach to results analysis, reporting, and the ability to effectively communicate results reports to peers and leadership 
  • Experience in creating compelling promotional email marketing, from brief development to delivery of content 
  • Experience working in reporting tools such as SalesForce, Sigma, or Tableau; project management tools such as Jira or Wrike; meeting-booking software (i.e., JiffleNow); knowledge of Google Suite
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Attention to detail, highly organized, and excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Willingness to travel (~10%)

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$56,000—$110,000 USD
