Level/Title position is reporting into: Chief Marketing Officer

 

Job Summary: The (Sr.) Manager, Public Relations role supports the business in press relations working closely with the creative, digital, and product teams. This role sits on the rag & bone Brand Marketing team reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee PR product editorial for rag & bone men’s and women’s collections with national and regional media outlets
  • Support print and online media outreach on key corporate and fashion-related initiatives to secure features and

news items

  • Writing all press releases for external brand announcements and internal corporate communications
  • Assist in development and execution of seasonal brand plans and high-level media strategies
  • Work closely with Europe and International teams on any editorial requests and special projects
  • Maintain strong print and online editorial relationships with key editors, stylists, and influencers
  • Oversee sample tracking system for editorial, advertising, and wholesale sample requests
  • Develop strong internal relationships - liaise with Design, Sales, Merchandising, and Buying for comprehensive

understanding of product and seasonal inspirations/intent

  • Manage seasonal lookbook planning, distribution, and editorial strategy
  • Manage editor appointments for seasonal presentations and special events
  • Oversee seasonal press showroom and manage merchandise accordingly in partnership with Sales and Visual

Merchandising teams

  • Manage internal distribution of all fashion media placements
  • Manage seasonal press days, including scheduling, creation of materials, booking and hosting editor appointments 
  • Management of press agencies in domestic and international markets where applicable
  • Attend key internal meetings and update managers and team accordingly
  • Manage project-specific budgets

Requirements: (skills, qualifications, education, etc)

  • 3-6 years of experience with in-depth and demonstrable understanding of the global fashion industry
  • Strong network and contacts in the fashion industry
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Appetite for new brand development opportunities
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • Strong writing and communications skills
  • Extremely well-organized and efficient with numbers
  • Proactive, can-do attitude

 

The estimated salary range for this role is $110,000 to $125,000 based on experience level and qualifications. Title will also be based on previous experience.
