Staff Product Manager
About the role:
We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the definition and development of our next-generation Infrastructure Graph platform service. This platform will be the cornerstone of our event-driven data mesh strategy, enabling seamless integration and management of complex enterprise infrastructure environments.
What you’ll do:- Product Strategy: Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for the Infrastructure Graph platform service in alignment with company objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in infrastructure and event-driven systems.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver a high-quality product that meets market demands.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with enterprise clients to understand their infrastructure challenges and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Event-Driven Architecture: Lead the integration of eventing subsystems into the platform, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Data Mesh Implementation: Oversee the adoption of data mesh patterns within the Infrastructure Graph to enhance data accessibility and governance.
- Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform ongoing development.
- Experience: 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise software solutions, with at least 3 years focused on infrastructure or platform services.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, eventing subsystems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and data mesh architectures.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects from concept to launch.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated experience in gathering customer insights and translating them into successful product features.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Knowledge of HashiCorp products and open-source communities.
- Certification in product management or project management.

Individual pay within the range will be determined based on job related-factors such as skills, experience, and education or training.
The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:$263,500—$310,000 USDThe base pay range for this role in Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, New York (excluding NYC), Washington D.C., or California (excluding SF Bay Area) is:$241,500—$284,100 USDThe base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro) and Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:$219,600—$258,300 USD
