Full Time
Milan, Metropolitan City of Milan, Italy

Drive the rapid expansion of SumUp's European Field Sales team. We're hiring 1000+ sales reps across Europe by year-end, and as a Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll be instrumental in reaching this ambitious goal. Own the full recruitment lifecycle and directly fuel our ambitious growth across key European markets.

 What you’ll do:

  • Expectation from the Role: To Deliver 18 onboardings* / month (or Hire 24 Reps / month). *Onboarding is defined as a hired rep joining Sumup and completing a 1week Sales Training. We’ve historically seen a 25-30% drop off between hiring and onboarding)
  • Drive Significant Hiring Impact: Take the reins of end-to-end recruitment for a high-volume portfolio across multiple European markets. Set, track, and achieve ambitious SLAs, turning hiring obstacles into measurable wins.
  • Own the Funnel & Maximize Conversion: Implement and optimize efficient hiring processes from application to onboarding, constantly leveraging data to boost conversion rates and exceed hiring targets.
  • Influence Employer Brand & Drive Candidate Flow: Contribute to employer branding initiatives that directly impact candidate attraction in your target markets, seeing your efforts translate into increased application numbers.
  • Set Aspirational Benchmarks & Drive Improvement: You'll be empowered to set your own challenging targets and continuously improve on past hiring outcomes, using data as your guide.
  • Leverage Data to Win: Look into recruitment metrics and analytics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and demonstrate tangible ROI on your efforts.

What You Bring to the Table:

You Deliver at Scale: You thrive in high-energy, fast-paced environments and have a proven track record of making 15+ hires per month. You’re organised, detail-oriented, and know how to keep multiple roles moving without dropping the ball.

You Know How to Find (and Close) Sales Talent: You’re not just good at sourcing—you’re strategic. You build pipelines for hard-to-fill, high-demand roles and know your way around outbound techniques (Boolean, social sourcing, referrals). You’re confident pitching opportunities and know how to sell the role to great salespeople—because you speak their language.

You Solve and You Close: Whether it’s a tricky requirement, timeline pressure, or candidate negotiations—you keep momentum going. You remove blockers, negotiate smartly, and make it happen.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Speak English plus another European language (German, French, Portuguese, Dutch or Italian)
  • Come from a high-volume and/or agency background
  • Have experience hiring self-employed or commission-based sales reps
