About the Talent Acquisition area

Our mission starts with Talent Acquisition, a team that aims to attract the right talent and ensure candidates have an amazing experience while getting to know SumUp. 

Our Talent Acquisition team is currently made up of people from 12 different countries, and we’re growing and diversifying each month. We’re split across 4 main regions - Europe, Brazil, US and LATAM and we are key supporters of SumUp’s ongoing agile transformation, helping stakeholders approach their hiring needs in an agile manner.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with hiring managers and other key stakeholders to help them evaluate and structure hiring needs for roles of varying seniority (from mid-level up to executive) across multiple business areas (including Engineering & Product, Growth, Sales, Compliance, Finance, People, and more).
  • Drive every stage of the talent acquisition process and make accountable hiring decisions.
  • Play a key role in ensuring that SumUp grows and scales in a strategic, and sustainable manner.
  • Add value to our recruiting processes by leveraging current trends in active sourcing and recruiting while driving improvements that impact local pipeline areas.
  • Manage projects to ensure continuous optimization and development of the team and our processes.
  • Implement strategies to ensure diverse teams and an inclusive workplace culture

*It is important to note that this role is for an initial period of 6 months. 

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You speak fluent English.
  • You have 3+ years of in-house and/or search firm end-to-end recruiting experience, being exposed to complex roles and different areas.
  • You're able to design and structure recruiting processes autonomously.
  • You’re knowledgeable about sourcing techniques like LinkedIn Recruiter, networking events and Boolean searches.
  • You’re familiar with applicant tracking systems and resume databases.
  • You have strong interviewing skills - behavioural and technical interviews are part of your daily life.
  • You’re results-oriented, easy-going, entrepreneurial and passionate about recruiting.
  • You are a team player and can adapt to constant change.
