Team Lead, Procurement and SCM
As a Team Lead for Continuous Improvement and Transformation, you'll be responsible for leading and managing a team of 3 project managers, ensuring successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes and strong background in project management and/ or procurement and supply chain consulting engagements.
You will…
- Identify, prioritize, structure, and solve an array of other complex business problems, using analytics and business judgment with market stakeholders
- Define and lead implementation of strategic cost reduction and transformation projects in Procurement and Supply Chain
- Define and lead implementation of error (quality improvement, supply assurance) and waste reduction projects and initiatives in an international supply chain (in 2 markets, 5 DCs)
- Lead process reviews at our distributions centers and our suppliers and hold accountable for meeting HelloFresh specifications and waste targets (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Lean Manufacturing)
- Design, iterate and rollout process, system and tool improvements that will achieve KPI targets. Use benchmarking and best practice exchange where available to maximize existing market and business knowledge
- Create a task-force approach and spirit within the procurement community to provide execution support to our international category managers
- Benchmarking, best practice exchange and standardization of sourcing & supply chain processes to optimize handling, ensure products meet quality standards and food surplus is minimized.
- Manage continuous improvement of methods, systems and tools that will help our operations teams to manage capacity on an ongoing basis as well as deliver higher process efficiency
- Driving the implementation and use of automation and innovation in the project documentation to support flawless project deliverables.
You have…
- Degree in Engineering or Business
- 7+ years of experience within procurement, supply chain management and/or continuous improvement in operations or in a top-tier consulting company complemented by international multi-project management in a fast-paced environment gained in consumer driven industries
- Solid competency in data analysis, lean methods, problem solving techniques, root cause analysis, and structuring of complex improvement projects
- Six sigma green belt or similar qualification is a plus
- Superior analytical skills and operational modeling capabilities connected to strategic thinking
- Demonstrated ability to enforce metrics that drive efficiency, measure performance and reduce costs, combined with a good sense of hands on mentality
