Elastic is seeking a VP, Global Sales Operations to lead us into our next phase of growth! 

As a member of our go-to-market leadership team, you will be responsible for all Sales and a Partner operations, including account and territory planning, field systems support, sales data management, and insights and analytics across our global go-to-market teams.  You and your team will work to support driving growth and scale, efficient operations, and predictability in support of our aggressive revenue goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies related to account and territory planning, ensuring that our sales teams are strategically aligned and optimized for success.
  • Identify and address areas of opportunity and drive initiatives that remove unnecessary friction from our go-to-market sales motion. 
  • Ensure that the day-to-day operations of the sales teams are executed flawlessly, with a maniacal focus on detail and efficiency that allows for scalable and repeatable growth across global teams.
  • Utilize your extensive experience in the SaaS industry to enhance Elastic's sales operations, tailored for success in a consumption revenue model.
  • Proactively recognize business needs and build foundations that support multi-billion dollar ARR.
  • Develop and implement training programs and resources to empower our sales teams and enhance their engagement with our sales systems and tools. 
  • Elevate our data analytics and reporting engine that allow our go-to-market leaders and teams to make data-driven decisions, improve processes, and identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Elastic to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving revenue goals.
  • Contribute to a customer-centric culture by ensuring sales operations positively impact customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used in all of our go-to-market operations.
  • Maintain analytical tools and processes to provide valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Provide critical support to the field sales teams to ensure they have the necessary resources and information to succeed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in a Sales Operations leadership role, having led teams of 100+ individuals supporting mutil-billion annual revenues.
  • Extensive experience in the SaaS industry and a deep understanding of the consumption revenue model.
  • A proven ability to develop tactical initiatives that improve sales productivity and performance. 
  • Background of introducing innovative performance metrics and improvement programs.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire a global team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven mindset, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for continuous improvement.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
