We are looking for a driven and detailed Sales BD Leader to lead our business development in Latin America (LATAM). The Sales BD Leader will set the foundations for growth in the region, lead a team of BD’s based in Brazil and Argentina, develop strategic partnerships, and win key accounts. The ideal candidate will be prepared to identify market trends and opportunities, create a united business development team strategy, and influence our product roadmap while achieving goals and targets.  

The Sales BD Leader will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil or Buenos Aires, Argentina and will report directly to Head of LATAM Sales.

 What you’ll do: 

  • Play an integral role in supporting Payoneer’s international expansion strategy in LATAM 
  • Identify market opportunities, develop, and implement Biz Dev plan for the region
  • Lead a strong team of BD's based in Brazil and Argentina 
  • Responsible for direct selling activities, including lead generation, on-boarding, and relationship management for key targets
  • Achieve and exceed targets related with customer acquisition, total volume of payments, and revenues for each of our services
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to define Product and Marketing roadmaps that meet local needs and help building brand awareness in the market
  • Collaborate to build company brand and market awareness (with Marketing team support)
  • Represent Payoneer by managing and monitoring the brand activity within the country, and by representing the company in the local market at events, in the local media, on social networks, or any other relevant communication/promotional channel

What we’re looking for: 

  • 8+ years of experience in business development and leadership within Fintech industry
  • Strategic thinking coupled with ability to drive business end-to-end results 
  • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment, anticipate needs and size the needed resources to enact business plans
  • Proven track record in meeting & exceeding targets
  • Ability to lead and project-manage across multiple functional areas and stakeholders
  • Self-starter who proactively seeks ways to improve and drive business to next level 
  • Fast learner passionate for payments and Fintech world
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, both in English and Portuguese and/or Spanish 
  • Flexibility to travel domestic or international

 Not required but a plus: 

  • Experience working in cross boarder payments and ecommerce 
  • Entrepreneurial experience in a startup / growth company
