The Sales Strategy and Operations team at Personio is a key strategic partner for our sales and partnerships leaders across strategy and analytics, operations and process and tools. Team members are experts in business strategy, operations, analytical and strategic thinking. They are innately curious and strive to always understand and better the status quo.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you are a catalyst for growth, positioned at the crucial intersection of analytics, strategy, and results-driven execution. With the increasing demand for data to support decision-making, your role becomes even more vital as you will lead our strategic planning and forecasting efforts. Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Strategic Planning: 

    • You’ll lead the development and delivery of comprehensive GTM business plans using advanced modeling techniques and you’ll be responsible for formulating MRR and pipeline goals, distributing them across regions, segments, products and teams. 

    • You’ll play a crucial role in the planning process by collaborating with other departments like FP&A, Marketing and Product to synthesize data into strategic recommendations for C-level executives.

  • Insight Generation: 

    • You’ll act as a subject matter expert on data analytics, providing pivotal guidance to senior management. 

    • You’ll employ segmentation, predictive modeling, and other advanced analytics techniques to generate actionable insights, translating complex data sets into strategic actions for decision-making and operational efficiency. 

  • Forecasting:

    • You’ll take charge of running forecasting meetings with senior leadership, presenting data-driven views and outlooks on the business performance 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Data Governance: 

    • You’ll identify and evaluate the needs and expectations of Sales internal stakeholders to shape and maintain data tracking efforts that ensure data accuracy and consistency. 

    • You’ll bridge the gap between non-technical expectations and the technical setup of data tracking processes and through collaboration with our Operations and Data teams ensure data integrity, efficiency, and scalability of our processes.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a high growth SAAS business, with at least 3 years in a Sales Operations or similar role.

  • Proven track record of leading sales and revenue or financial planning cycles

  • Outstanding Excel or Google Sheets skills.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on generating actionable insights in combination with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

  • Experience working with Salesforce data and familiarity with core Sales tech stack leaders such as Gong, Groove etc. 

  • Expertise in SQL and BI/Visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBiExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into easy-to-understand recommendations for stakeholders.
