The Team:

The Global Events Team is creating and running global events with up to 15,000 attendees, both in person and  digital. Our events range from smaller more specific customer, sales and executive events to our bigger roadshow and flagship events with more than 3000 in-person participants. The team is part of the Integrated Marketing Team consisting of Content, Events & Campaigns - making sure the Messaging reaches our audience in the right way. We are constantly looking for innovative, fresh ideas and concepts and have a very ambitious mindset to grow and develop our events to the highest levels of experience and excellence.

The Role:

You will support the Global Events Team in planning and executing world-class internal and external events, as well as day-by-day operations.

The work you’ll do:

  • Support the event managers in the planning and implementation of various events (e.g. Celosphere 2024, Celonis Company Kick-off, Employee Events, Roadshows)
  • As part of your job, you will project manage your own part of our events,  coordinate internal and external partners and stakeholders, and support your colleagues in the wider event and marketing organization
  • Participate in various events, ranging from handling sponsorships, agenda management, and managing suppliers.
  • You have the chance to travel the world with us and support our global event initiatives on-site
  • Research suitable suppliers, speakers, and service providers
  • Create presentations, documents, analysis, and event production plans
  • Additional administrative tasks

The qualifications you need:

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Must have relevant professional business experience in an office/event environment (e.g. internships, working student jobs, apprenticeship)
  • Ideally prior event and/or project management experience, but not a requirement
  • Must be extremely digitally savvy (Powerpoint/Google Slides, & especially Excel)
  • Fluent spoken and written English (German is a plus)
  • Must have 5-6 months of full-time availability
  • Have strong work-ethic, take responsibility over projects, take initiative, and be solution-oriented.
