Sales Compensation Systems Manager
About the team
We are looking for a Sales Compensation Systems Manager to support sales functions in our GTM Org. The Sales Compensation team is responsible for end-to-end sales compensation of the World Wide Field Operations (WWFO) roles. This includes plan design, administration, support, and compensation analytics functions. This position is for an individual contributor role and is responsible for sales comp systems while working closely with design and analytics functions
What you’ll do (responsibilities)
As Sales Compensation Systems Manager, your responsibilities will be -
- Configure and maintain the comp plans, crediting rules and formulas in Xactly
- Design and implement custom calculations, rules, and workflows within the Xactly platform to automate sales compensation processes.
- Manage personalization, templates, and similar system operations and settings for Xactly users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to ensure seamless integration between Xactly and other systems (Salesforce, Workday etc.).
- Regularly audit and validate data within Xactly to ensure accuracy. Implement measures to address data discrepancies and maintain data integrity. Perform monthly audits of Xactly data to align with SOX requirements
- Automate manual calculations and processes in Xactly
- Create, maintain, and manage OIC Analytics dashboards & reports
- Document and maintain job aids for Xactly Incent reporting and Xactly Objectives operations
- Implement and manage commissions estimator & forecasting
- Collaborate with Analytics teams to create advanced dashboards integrating sales compensation data with relevant GTM data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues or system errors in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with Xactly platform updates and enhancements, and recommend and implement new features to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall performance and functionality of the Xactly platform.
What you’ll need (minimum qualifications)
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Xactly Administrator or in a similar role (Varicent, Callidus, Anaplan etc. )
- Experience with Xactly Objectives, Connect and Analytics
- Proficient in SQL for data analysis and manipulation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective Xactly solutions
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in incentive compensation calculations and configurations.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities
- Experience working with global and cross-functional teams
What’s nice to have (preferred qualifications)
- Xactly Incent platform certification.
- Experience with service management, preferably Freshworks or ServiceNow
