We are seeking an experienced and proactive Talent Management Specialist to join our People team in Kuala Lumpur. This hybrid role is a combination of talent acquisition and regional onboarding. This individual is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process in KL, partnering closely with hiring managers to deliver best-in-class candidate experience.

In addition to their local recruitment responsibilities, this individual will oversee and facilitate key regional onboarding experiences, with a focus on employees in KL and Shanghai. These onboarding programs will extend to new hires across North and South APAC with a goal of delivering a consistent, high-quality program that supports employee success and engagement from day one. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-impact, cross-cultural environment, brings deep regional insight, and is passionate about building strong talent pipelines and delivering exceptional employee experiences.

What You Will Be Doing:

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for the Kuala Lumpur team, from sourcing to offer acceptance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities and external partners to strengthen Mintel’s brand in the early talent space.
  • Represent Mintel at career fairs and campus events to attract high-quality candidates and promote employer branding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver a best-in-class recruitment process.

Onboarding 

  • Facilitate existing onboarding programs for new starters in the region
  • Partner with regional People Operations and global L&D, to ensure consistency, quality, and localization across North and South APAC regions.
  • Lead onboarding sessions in collaboration with functional leaders to deliver an engaging and informative new hire experience.
  • Create onboarding metrics and feedback loops to continually improve the program's impact and develop new content/ programing to support the employee onboarding experience.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition and onboarding/ early career, preferably within a regional or global organization.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and across time zones; highly collaborative and culturally aware.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills; able to represent the People (HR) function with credibility and warmth.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.
